Karol G ranks fourth with her fifth studio album, Tropicoqueta, which was released on June 20. Topping the list is 111XPANTIA by Fuerza Régida, which has established itself as the leading album of the year so far.
According to the magazine, Tropicoqueta is an ode to the sounds and musical icons of Latin America. This album pushes Karol G’s sonic boundaries by incorporating genres such as ranchera, Colombian vallenato, cumbia villera, mambo, and merengue, among others. In addition, it debuted at number 1 on the Top Latin Albums chart and number 3 on the Billboard 200, solidifying Karol G as one of the most influential and versatile Latin artists today.
