Bruno Mars makes history as the first artist to achieve this milestone, setting a new record.
Bruno Mars has officially become the first artist in history to surpass 150 million monthly listeners on Spotify, marking a groundbreaking achievement in the streaming era. With over 550 million active users on the platform, this milestone solidifies Mars’ status as one of the most influential and enduring artists in modern music.
His meteoric rise in streams is fueled not only by his timeless hits but also by recent chart-topping collaborations. His duet with Lady Gaga, “Die With a Smile,” and “APT.” with Rosé of Blackpink both shattered records, becoming the fastest songs in Spotify history to hit one billion streams.
Mars latest release involves a cheeky, provocative strip club anthem with rapper Sexyy Red called “Fat, Juicy & Wet” which sparked mixed reactions online.
In total, Mars now has 17 songs that have surpassed the billion-stream mark, including classics like “Locked Out of Heaven”, “Just the Way You Are”, and “That’s What I Like.”
